An Unexpected Combination

Pastor Glenn Balzer preached from Matthew 18:15-20. We live in a world of unexpected combinations- country and rap music; M&Ms and pizza; and, Glenn’s favorite, peanut butter and bacon! This morning we want to consider another unexpected combination- love and judgment.

Several of today’s hymns are live recordings from FMC worship services in 2013 and 2015. They are not polished or perfect, but they showcase moments from one way FMC has worshiped together.

Pastor Glenn preached from Genesis 45:1-15. According to Google, a family is a basic social unit consisting of parents and their children, considered as a group, whether dwelling together or not. This week we reflect on what it means to be part of the church family by looking at Joseph’s family.

Good Trouble

Pastor Glenn preached from Matthew 14:22-33. For the most part we are a people who like being in control. We want calm waters and smooth sailing. We desire predictability. So, what do we do when control is lost? When the storm is raging all around us and there is no light at the end of the tunnel? This week we explored the possibility of hope even when the storm is raging.
