Pastor Vern Rempel has served in congregational ministry since 1986. He graduated from Associate Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, IN with a M.Div. degree and more recently from Iliff School of Theology with a D.Min. in preaching. Vern has taught at two Mennonite colleges, written numerous articles, and is serving as adjunct faculty at Iliff and in Mennonite denominational roles. Vern's doctoral thesis "Beautiful language for preaching: A poetics of homiletics" is available through theological databases, or contact him, if interested. Vern is married to Marilyn Rempel. They have two young adult children, Jess and Diana, and live in Littleton, CO.
Associate Pastor Annie Lengacher, MDiv, MSW
Annie joined the FMC staff in the Fall of 2007 as Associate Pastor of Outreach and Pastoral Care. She graduated from Iliff School of Theology in Denver, CO with a MDiv degree and from the University of Denver with a Master of Social Work Degree. She has worked in mental health services and teaching roles in the past and has led various spirituality groups and workshops. Annie lives in Northeast Denver.
